What is the Ram 1500 engine capable of?

The Ram 1500 has multiple engine options with the base engine being a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. This engine has 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. The EPA has given this engine a fuel economy rating of 25 miles per gallon. The 3-liter turbodiesel V6 has a fuel economy rating of 29 miles per gallon with 305 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. The final engine is a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 395 horsepower, an EPA rating of 22 miles per gallon, and a torque of 410 lb-ft. All engines have the option of two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive and come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Although the Hemi V8 does use a 6-speed automatic with the option to switch to the eight-speed.

What features are available with which trim?

The Tradesman is the base trim of the 2018 Ram 1500. This trim comes standard with cruise control, a Class IV hitch receiver, a spray-in bed liner, and an exterior that is almost entirely black. The Big Horn adds dual-zone automatic climate control, a 110-volt power outlet, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and upgraded cloth seating with a power-adjustable driver seat. The Sport and Night models have bucket seats, LED interior lighting, adjustable pedals, and differ with the Sport having body-colored exterior pieces, while the Night models are entirely black. The Harvest had all-terrain tires, skid plates, black tubular side steps, and tow hooks. The Laramie had wood trim, heated and ventilated leather front seats, and auto-dimming mirrors. The Laramie Longhorn adds front and rear parking sensors, upgraded leather upholstery, a navigation system, and keyless entry and ignition. The Limited is the top trim and it comes standard with side-step bars, automatic high beams, and a self-leveling air suspension. The off-roading 1500 is called the Rebel and it comes with black fender flares, tow hooks, LED foglights, Bilstein shock absorbers, and keyless entry.
